Welcome to A Calc® App! We value your privacy and are committed to keeping things simple and transparent. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information—or rather, how we mostly don’t—when you use our calculator app (the “App”).

1. Data We Collect

We built this App to crunch numbers, not to collect your personal info. Here’s the breakdown:

  • No Data Collected by Default: The App does not collect, store, or process any personal data about you while you use it for calculations. No names, no emails, no tracking—just math.
  • Feedback (Optional): If you choose to send us feedback (which we’d love to hear!), we may collect whatever information you voluntarily provide, like your comments or suggestions. You’re in control of what you share.
  • Device Data (Minimal): When you send feedback, we might automatically receive basic device info, such as your device type, operating system version, or a timestamp. This helps us troubleshoot or improve the App if needed. Nothing identifying you personally is included.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • Feedback: If you send us feedback, we use it to improve the App or respond to you (if you ask us to). That’s it.
  • Device Data: The minimal device info we get with feedback is only used to understand the context of your input—like fixing a bug that only happens on certain devices.

3. Data Sharing

We don’t sell, trade, or share your info with anyone. Period. The App doesn’t rely on third-party services that track you, and we don’t have ads or analytics pinging your data to anyone else.

4. Data Storage and Security

  • Calculus History: The App stores your calculation history locally on your device to help you keep track of your past math. This data stays on your device—it’s not sent to us or anyone else. You can clear it anytime through the App’s settings.
  • No Storage by Default (Beyond History): Other than your calculation history, we don’t collect or store any data during regular use.
  • Feedback Storage: If you send feedback, we keep it only as long as needed to address it or improve the App. We take reasonable steps to protect it from unauthorized access, but we’re not storing anything super sensitive anyway.

5. Your Choices

You don’t have to send us feedback—it’s totally optional. If you do, you decide what to include. No pressure!

6. Children’s Privacy

This App is just a calculator, so it’s fine for all ages. We don’t knowingly collect data from kids under 13 (or anyone, really, unless they send feedback). If you’re a parent and think your child shared something with us, let us know, and we’ll delete it.

7. Changes to This Policy

If we update this Privacy Policy, we’ll post the new version in the App or wherever you found this one. Check back here if you’re curious. The “Effective Date” at the top will show when it last changed.
